last night i was thinking about how much i love people, and i started thinking about Anne Carson and when she said “All lovers believe they are inventing love” and like. i was thinking about how true that is, that everyone in love feels like they’ve discovered something unheard of, and it was so funny because i just like… miss that. there’s something so thrilling about knowing that humans have felt this feeling for thousands of years and still it feels new in your body, unheard of before now. unique. how could anyone have felt this feeling this way at this time? and the answer of course is, easily, but also not really, because no one is ever exactly like you.
