I’ve been rewatching a lot of the Obito flashback episodes and yes, Kakashi is a huge prick in the filler episodes lol. But then there are so many times where he wants to troll Obito (staring at him through his window, carving his name with shuriken just to piss him off). And then every time Kakashi moves up in the ranks, he’s always waiting for Obito to congratulate him. My theory is that Kakashi was an awkward kid who actually wanted to be friends with Obito but didn’t know how because he had no idea how to interact with people lmao.

It’s like he was staring at his crush who was nodding off and was like “wake up i want to play” and then ended up embarrassing him. oh kakashi, sakumo obviously was the one who taught you your social skills considering how he let you kick two grown ass men in the face.
