Tsunade trained Ino for a bit because she immediately recognized that Ino is a mean-spirited kid and she loves kids that are obnoxious and mean spirited. This is a list of all the kids Tsunade would love:

Lee: obnoxious just terribly annoying but she likes his spirit

Neji: insufferable, talks like a 70 year old man it’s hilarious

Ino: mean, hates people for being ugly a joy to be around

Shikamaru: lazy she can’t even pawn off work on him but it’s pisses people off so she keeps him around.

Sakura: absolutely terrible. Lies all the time hates anyone with trauma & just hates men in general. She loves this kid & plans to use her to swindle rich people in the village

Naruto: loud. Definitely has untreated adhd and has the volume turned all the way up. How does this kid project his voice in the worst way possible? She will die protecting this kids dream and can’t bring herself to be truly rude to him.

Sasuke (if he stuck around): how does anyone hang out with this kid? He’s just plain rude and is not embarrassed at all by anything he does. If he tries to kill her she’d let him get a sword swing in for sure. Orochimaru got the worst one.

Kakashi (technically a kid by her standards): traumatized beyond belief. Like damn it makes it weird for everyone else. She trusts him completely much to the dismay of everyone who has been in the room with kakashi for 5 minutes.
