sometimes i really miss kakashi and then i think about how he went from a dude who went through a never ending angst fest to a chill uncle who now travels the world with his best friend/husband and i think “i still really miss you but you know what, good for you”

things that i think of that make me really miss kakashi

• back in the olden days when he lifted his headband for his sharingan and he went from tired man to full on protective dad mode
• how he always came up with a stupid reason for why he was late but it was really because he couldn’t pull himself away from obito’s grave
• he had eight dogs and even though it was never shown in canon we know he bathed them all and slept with them in his bed
• he was one of the most famous ninja in the series, revered for his strength, but 9/10 of the battles he was in he’d fall flat on his face and be out of commission for a week from chakra exhaustion
• that scene where he told obito that he was one step away from walking down the same path he did whether it be joining something like the akatsuki or even committing suicide but he managed to stay strong through it all because he wanted to find something to believe in since obito threw everything away for him to stay alive
• how kakashi literally died fighting pain but once he was brought back to life he was the first one to find naruto because he wanted to make sure that he was safe
• the amount of modesty he always has… like he was personally thanked by ashura for creating a plan that saved the world but he pushes the praise away from himself and moves the attention to his team and obito

and many more…. i just really miss having kakashi content
